Baptism By Water

 

Read:  Acts 10:47

 

Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as?

 

My Comment:

 

If you have repented and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then you have received the Holy Ghost in your heart and Spirit.  This is the baptism of faith.  Baptism by water is an outward show of this.  Many consider it a show of cleansing of sin and being born of the Spirit and a new life will be lived in the Spirit.  Baptism by water is not a requirement to be saved.  The Holy Ghost in your heart and Spirit is.  This is considered a baptism of your heart and Spirit by the Holy Ghost.
